Tengrinews.kz — Famous insider Fabrizio Romano said that fans from Kazakhstan “went crazy” after Dastan Satpayev’s debut for Chelsea, citing his social media.

The 17-year-old Kazakhstani’s goal became one of the biggest media events related to Chelsea in recent months. The video of the goal on the club’s social media received a record number of likes, something even the English Premier League’s press service noted.

The famous insider, who last year was among the first to announce Satpayev’s contract with the London club, also did not ignore the hype caused by the Kazakhstani player’s debut.

“Kazakhstan fans go CRAZY after 17 year-old Dastan Satpaev scored his first goal for Chelsea yesterday... Over 330k (!) comments and counting under Chelsea’s video of the goal after one day. A NEW CHELSEA GEM HAS ARRIVED,” Romano wrote on social media.

As a reminder, British fans previously reacted to the social media frenzy on Chelsea's pages caused by the massive influx of comments from Kazakhstan.

"The support Satpayev is getting is simply incredible. An entire country is behind this guy — it is truly impressive. It seems Dastan will turn all of Kazakhstan into Chelsea fans," one user wrote.

Social media users from other countries also offered their congratulations.

"Congratulations, Kazakhstan!”, “Kazakhstan, you have a new star!”, “Kazakhstanis are great,” “Wow, that is some support," commenters posted.

Notably, the video of Satpayev's debut goal in a Chelsea shirt, scored against Western Sydney Wanderers during the pre-season tour, has already garnered over a million likes. The London club hasn't seen this level of social media engagement in a long time.
