Dastan Satpayev returned to the field after injury

The Kazakhstan star posted photos on social media showing himself on the pitch in Burnley kit. After a lengthy recovery, Dastan Satpayev has returned to training and could feature in a match soon.

Satpayev's injury

As a reminder, the star footballer had been recovering from an injury sustained in a Championship match against Middlesbrough.

He played more than 80 minutes in that game and was named one of the best players of the match, but was forced to leave the pitch. Satpayev was then sidelined for several weeks.

His recovery was supervised by Burnley’s medical staff and Chelsea specialists. The Kazakh winger has now returned to full training with the team and is gradually regaining match fitness.

Later, Burnley head coach Nicky Hayen commented on the condition of Kazakhstan forward Dastan Satpayev. He said the Kazakh player would return to action soon and emphasized his importance to the team.
