Dastan Satpayev wins his first award at Chelsea

Tengrinews.kz — A goal scored by Kazakhstan national team winger Dastan Satpayev has been named the best goal of the 2026 Sydney Super Cup in Australia, according to the League A press service.

The Australian league selected the six best goals scored during the friendly tournament featuring Chelsea. Five of them came from the Chelsea–Western Sydney match, which opened the tournament and marked Satpayev’s debut in the English club’s shirt.

However, it was Satpayev’s goal, scored in the sixth minute, that topped the ranking.

The 17-year-old Kazakh winger received the ball inside the Australian team’s half, drove into the penalty area at speed and fired a powerful shot into the top corner.

The young forward’s confidence impressed Chelsea fans, who showered Satpayev with praise on social media.

Chelsea are set to play another friendly match today in Hong Kong against Italian club Juventus.

Earlier, Dastan Satpayev featured in Chelsea’s second pre-season match against Tottenham but did not register a goal or an assist.

Following his Chelsea debut, he also became the most popular Kazakh footballer on social media.
