Notably, broadcast directors cut the audio within seconds, preventing the children from launching a full-scale career in commentary.

Children commentate on Kazakhstani football with profanity: how it happened

Tengri Sport attempted to clarify the details with representatives of the host team and the Kazakhstan Football Federation. Kyzylzhar stated that the federation is responsible for the broadcast and declined to comment on the incident.

"An internal investigation was conducted regarding the circulation of a video recording containing profane language during the broadcast of a Kazakhstan Second League match. The probe established that spectators gained access to one of the microphones positioned around the perimeter of the pitch.

These microphones are used to capture ambient noise—the acoustic atmosphere directly from the match venue. It was determined that during halftime, children reached one of the microphones, resulting in their profane conversation being broadcast live.

Given the specific placement of ambient microphones, providing constant supervision for each one is difficult. Nevertheless, following the investigation, additional measures will be taken to prevent similar situations during future broadcasts.

We apologize to viewers for this episode and thank you for your understanding," said Dastan Gabbasov, manager of the Directorate for Professional Club Competitions, in response to Tengri Sport's inquiry.

We also asked professional commentator Dimash Tulegenov, who works on national championship matches as well as World Cup and Champions League finals, about the situation. He confirmed it was highly likely that the children reached a microphone intended to record stadium sound.

"It seems the boys found an ambient noise microphone and started saying all that into it. Where are they usually installed? I hadn't really thought about it. At the Astana Arena, there's sometimes one right in the middle, in front of the tunnel, and thanks to that microphone attached to the camera, you can clearly hear the sound of the ball being kicked during passes," the commentator noted.
