Tengrinews.kz — Kazakhstan national football team winger Dastan Satpayev has been included among the players who will travel on Chelsea’s tour of Australia and Asia, citing the club’s press service.


The 17-year-old Kazakhstani may take part in upcoming friendly matches against Tottenham, Juventus, Milan and other teams.

In addition to Satpayev, the squad includes one of the team’s most expensive players, Cole Palmer, attacking leader Joao Pedro, young star Estevao and other first-team players.

“Several more first-team players are expected to join the Chelsea squad during the tour. Information on the timing of their arrival will be confirmed through the club’s channels,” the press service added.

Goalkeepers: Filip Jorgensen, Robert Sanchez, Ted Curd, Teddy Sharman-Lowe.

Defenders: Josh Acheampong, Tosin Adarabioyo, Aaron Anselmino, Levi Colwill, Wesley Fofana, Jorrel Hato, Marco Palestra, Mamadou Sarr, Tayo Subuloye.

Midfielders: Landon Emenalo, Dario Essugo, Omari Kellyman, Romeo Lavia, Mahdi Nicoll-Jazouli, Reggie Walsh, Reggie Watson.

Forwards: Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, Ryan Kavuma-McQueen, Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro, Dastan Satpayev, Estevao Willian.

At the same time, players who took part in the World Cup with their national teams, such as Enzo Fernandez of Argentina and Moises Caicedo of Ecuador, have not yet returned to the squad.

Matches in which Satpayev could make his Chelsea debut: schedule

  • July 28 — Chelsea vs Western Sydney;
  • August 1 — Chelsea vs Tottenham;
  • August 5 — Chelsea vs Juventus;
  • August 8 — Chelsea vs Milan;
  • August 9 — Chelsea vs Johor Darul Ta’zim.

For the Kazakhstani winger, these matches could be his first in a Chelsea shirt.

Dastan Satpayev is a Kazakhstan and Champions League record holder

As a reminder, 17-year-old Satpayev is the youngest goalscorer in the history of Kazakhstan’s national football team in official matches. In addition, he is among the top 10 youngest goalscorers in Champions League history.

Satpayev’s value on Transfermarkt is currently estimated at 3.5 million euros, the highest value among all Kazakhstan national team players.

On June 17, he played his final match for Kairat, after which he flew to London and has already held his first training sessions under the coach’s guidance.
