The Kazakh footballer turned 18 on August 12 — the age from which foreign players can officially represent English clubs.
The change was immediately reflected on major statistics platforms: Transfermarkt, Flashscore and Sofascore removed the player from Kairat’s squad and added him to Chelsea.

However, Dastan Satpayev’s profile has not yet appeared on Chelsea’s official website.
Dastan Satpayev at Chelsea: what is known
Satpayev’s transfer to London club Chelsea was announced back on February 10, 2025. Kairat’s press service said at the time that the deal had been completed, but Dastan would only be able to join Chelsea in the summer of 2026 after turning 18.
In practice, Dastan flew to London a month earlier and has already made his debut for the new team in friendly matches. However, only now can he be officially included in the squad for English Premier League fixtures.
The Kazakh player scored in his first match for Chelsea and later featured against Tottenham, Juventus and Johor.
According to various estimates, the English club paid between €2.4 million and €4 million for the Kazakhstan international.

Earlier, media reports suggested that Dastan Satpayev could leave Chelsea on loan. Possible destinations reportedly include English club Hull City, French side Strasbourg and even Kairat.
