In Burnley’s latest match in England’s second tier against Middlesbrough, the 18-year-old Kazakh once again started the game and spent 81 minutes on the pitch.
The match ended in a 1–1 draw, with Dastan producing several impressive runs, dribbles and shots.
When Satpayev was substituted, fans applauded him, while the league recognized the winger’s performance by naming him Player of the Match.

Most Burnley supporters have praised the Kazakh player’s performance and predict a bright future for him.
“Dastan Satpayev really impressed me against Middlesbrough. He is a tidy player, difficult to stop once he gets up to speed, and he keeps his composure to make the right decision. He still has things to work on, but he has only played four games in English football. A very promising talent.”
“Smile, mate, you were absolutely brilliant. You’re going all the way to the top. I think one day you’ll be a £100 million player.”
“Satpayev is pure class. Chelsea have got a real star in the making!”
“I think he will improve as the season goes on. His work rate is excellent too. He has everything he needs to become a top-level player,” fans wrote on social media.
Some supporters, however, believe the coach could use him more effectively.
“If you really want to climb the table, you need to start winning games. Having Satpayev making runs into the penalty area while your players ignore him and don’t pass him the ball certainly won’t help. He wants the ball — give it to him.”
“Play him as a number nine and he’ll become the league’s top scorer,” they said.
However, many fans were concerned by the way Satpayev left the pitch. Footage of the substitution showed the winger holding his thigh.
“Hopefully the hamstring injury isn’t serious.”
“Make sure that hamstring is sorted by Saturday!” they wrote.

Support from a champion and praise from the coach
Many Kazakhstanis commented on Burnley’s post announcing Satpayev as Player of the Match. Among those congratulating Dastan was former boxing world champion Zhanibek Alimkhanuly.
“Tamasha” (Wonderful), he wrote under the post.

Burnley head coach Nicky Hayen also praised the Kazakh player.
“A lot of energy and intensity! For me, it doesn’t matter whether you’re 18 or 35. If you show energy and the right attitude, you will always play,” he said when asked about Dastan by the club’s press service.
Dastan Satpayev yet to score for Burnley
Dastan Satpayev joined Burnley immediately after signing an official contract with Chelsea, with the London club sending the winger out on loan.
The Kazakh player has now started three matches in a row, but his team has yet to win, while Satpayev himself has not registered either a goal or an assist.
Nevertheless, fans continue to support Satpayev after every match and believe he will make an important contribution to the team.
