Mendikanov confirmed the transfer
On his social media page, the Kazakhstani posted photos from the contract signing ceremony. The pictures show moments from the signing of the agreement and the footballer himself standing in front of the Barcelona emblem.

“I am very proud to have signed a contract with the club of my life,” Mendikanov wrote.
The path to Barcelona
Karim moved to Spain in 2022, where he began developing within the local football system.
He spent last season with Cerdanyola, which played in a regional league, where he managed to attract attention. In early 2026, the winger moved to Sant Cugat and almost immediately became one of the team’s leaders, playing on the right flank of the attack.
His successful performances drew interest from several clubs, but in the end, the footballer chose Barcelona.
