Tengrinews.kz — Kazakhstan’s Minister of Tourism and Sports Yerbol Myrzabossynov summed up the results of the 6th World Nomad Games and thanked the brotherly Kyrgyz people for their hospitality and warm welcome. The minister’s statement was published on Sunday evening on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
“The 6th World Nomad Games are a special international event that brings brotherly nations together through their shared history, traditions and national sports. During the Games, I met with Urmat Asanbayev, Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. We reviewed the results of our joint work at the World Nomad Games.
As a sign of respect, I presented Urmat Asanbayev with a bow — a symbol of the rich heritage of nomadic peoples and our shared traditions.
The Kazakh and Kyrgyz peoples are united by common historical roots, similar traditions and spiritual values. Such international competitions strengthen ties between athletes and sports professionals of the two countries, contributing to the further development of our cooperation.
The World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan were organized at a high level. I thank the brotherly Kyrgyz people for their hospitality and warm welcome,” the statement said.
Earlier, it became known that Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan had calculated the results of the World Nomad Games, which ended on September 6, differently. The dispute concerned the winner of the medal standings.
