The presentation of the new head coach took place at the Kazakhstan Football Federation.
The 62-year-old previously managed the national teams of Greece and Armenia and was also part of the coaching staff for the Netherlands national team.
John van 't Schip becomes the second Dutchman to manage the Kazakh national team, following Arno Pijpers, who coached the squad from 2006 to 2008.
The previous head coach of the Kazakhstan national team was local specialist Talgat Baisufinov, who resigned just over a month ago.
The new manager’s first official match in charge will be a Nations League fixture against the Faroe Islands on September 26.
