The Kazakhstan men's national epee team has made history by winning the World Championships. In the tournament final held in Hong Kong, Kazakhstan defeated the Ukrainian team. The Kazakh squad included Vadim Sharlaimov, Yerlik Sertay, Kirill Prokhodov, and Ruslan Kurbanov.
