Kazakhstan’s shooters reach the podium at the 2026 Asian Games

Tengrinews.kz — Kazakhstan’s men’s team won bronze medals in the team trap shooting event at the 2026 Asian Games, which are being held in the Japanese cities of Aichi and Nagoya.

The Kazakh athletes scored 348 points to finish third.

The team consisted of Daniil Pochivalov, Alisher Aisalbayev and Mark Pochivalov.

Kuwait won the event with 355 points, while Qatar took silver with 349 points.

Following the bronze medal in trap shooting, Kazakhstan ranks fifth in the medal standings at the 2026 Asian Games. The national team has won 9 gold, 13 silver and 24 bronze medals.

The 20th Asian Games will run through October 4. Kazakhstan’s national team includes 558 athletes competing for medals in 35 sports.
