The Kazakhstan Football Federation (KFF) shared a video on social media showing the arrival of the 18-year-old winger. Satpayev met with his teammates to wish them luck in their upcoming matches.

As a reminder, Kazakhstan will kick off their UEFA Nations League campaign against the Faroe Islands on September 26.
Following the opener, the team will face Slovakia away on September 29, host Moldova on October 2, and play the return fixture against the Faroe Islands at home on October 6.

Will Satpayev play for the national team?
Regarding Satpayev, he is currently undergoing rehabilitation for an injury and was not included in Kazakhstan's final squad selection.
Burnley coach Nicky Hayen previously stated that the Kazakh international would be sidelined for several weeks and is expected to make a full recovery after the international break in late September/early October. The specific nature of the injury has not been disclosed.
In his last appearance on September 2, Satpayev played 81 minutes but was seen clutching his hip as he left the field.

Dastan Satpayev: A rising star for Kazakhstan
Dastan Satpayev is considered one of the national team's brightest young talents. In March 2025, at the age of 16 years, 7 months, and 10 days, he made his international debut in a friendly against Curaçao, becoming the youngest player in the team's history.
Just days later, the young forward appeared in a World Cup qualifier against Wales, setting another record as the youngest player to ever represent Kazakhstan in a competitive qualifying match.
In November of the same year, Satpayev scored his first goal for the senior team. He opened the scoring in the ninth minute of a home match against Belgium, which eventually ended in a 1-1 draw. The goal made the 17-year-old the youngest goalscorer in the national team's history.
By the summer of 2026, Satpayev had earned eight caps and scored one goal for his country.

Kazakhstan head coach John van 't Schip included Dastan Satpayev in the preliminary squad for the Nations League matches; however, it remains uncertain whether the Burnley forward will make the final roster.
